Product Details

This creative writing workshop is designed to teach participants how to use sensory detail and dialogue to create engaging and entertaining versions of their own personal narratives. Through discussion, writing exercises, and critiques, we will explore the foundational stages of the writing process. Writers will walk away from the workshop with all the tools they need to begin penning their stories, and whether they are interested in learning how to catalogue their lives for their predecessors or write a best-selling novel, participants will gain a true love for the creative process.

Jennifer Staton is a professional writer and college professor who lives in Woodstock, Georgia. Growing up in Gilmer and Pickens counties instilled a love for good, Southern stories in Jennifer, and that's the genre she still prefers to write today. She published her first novel, Paper Lantern Promises, in 2016, and is currently working on her second novel. Jennifer has been teaching English and writing courses at Chattahoochee Technical College for almost a decade.
