Writing Your Story, A Guide to Narrative and Memoir Writing, Weekend Workshop
Saturday August 24th 9am-4pm and Sunday August 25th 9am-12pm
This creative writing workshop is designed to teach participants how to use sensory detail and dialogue to create engaging and entertaining versions of their own personal narratives. Through discussion, writing exercises, and critiques, we will explore the foundational stages of the writing process. Writers will walk away from the workshop with all the tools they need to begin penning their stories, and whether they are interested in learning how to catalogue their lives for their predecessors or write a best-selling novel, participants will gain a true love for the creative process.
