You must be 18 or over to register for all classes.

SAFS is a smoke free campus. No smoking is allowed inside the building or outside the building within 50ft.
Classroom / Studio Safety
SAFS and it’s employees and instructor’s are not responsible for injuries sustained as a result of improper or careless use of classroom I studio tools or equipment.
Cell Phone Usage
No cell phone use in classroom/ studio during class or during school group gatherings.
The school is not responsible for the security of property belonging to students and instructors.
Students and instructors are not permitted have pets on school property. Service animals are an exception.
The school reserves the right to dismiss any student, without refund, for behavior that is disruptive to the learning environment and to refuse future registrations from such student.
We do not provide baby-sitting or child care services for parents who participate in workshops. Children will not be allowed in the classroom/ studio area while a parent is taking a class.
Southern Appalachian Folk School (SAFS) collects your mailing and billing information to process your online registration requests and online donations. We will use your contact information to confirm your registrations and/ or donations. If you make an inquiry via our Contact Form, we will use your email address to reply to your inquiry.
We do not share or sell any part of the personal information that you have provided to us. Occasionally we will email you to inform you of special events, news, and class schedule information. If at any time, you decide that you do not want to receive emails from us, you can let us know by following the opt-out instructions at the end of each email.
